In the late afternoon of Sunday, March the 5th, the AirSelfie team tour adventure in Berlin begins. After a stormy and tiring journey we couldn’t have wished for a better than the warm and relaxing welcome of the Michelberger hotel. Which later we found out to be one of the ‘ten most hipster hotels in the world’!
After a long and deserved rest, a sumptuous and incredibly healthy breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant, we set out to explore Berlin.
First stop the famous Oberbaumbrucke (also known as the red bridge) a short walk from the hotel, then the iconic East Side Gallery with its magnificent graphics. AirSelfie always in hand, we take hundreds of great photos. Then we move on to the famous Alexander Platz, with its futuristic watch, and Brandenburg Gate, a symbol of Berlin like the TV Tower. It is inexplicable the expression of amazement of the kids who saw us taking Air-selfies, with our magnificent air-camera all the while they had to squeeze themselves in just to fit in a photo!
Tuesday is Press-day for the AirSelfie’s team. The location is close to Potsdamer Platz and the Sony Centre, where we take some great photos up to 20 meters in the air, really testing the AirSelfie and it abilities. The journalists we met over the course of the day have all been excited to touch and try AirSelfie for themselves, realizing just how fun and easy to use it is!
On the way back to the hotel we stop off at the Berlin Victory Column, just for one quick pic!
Wednesday the 8th. We visit X-berg (Kreuzberg,), famous district for Street Art thrown up by some of the most famous street artists in the world. Then on to the Dome, while we are having fun with the AirSelfie we meet a group of local girls who, curiously, have willingly joined us. So off to the Museum Ireland and a quick coffee, from the Café Cinema in the Hackesche Höfe district.
