LONDON DAY 1
It is Wednesday, March the 1st, I’m Corinna and I’m going to narrate to you the fantastic 40-day trip around the world that I, Gaia, Alessandro and Matteo will face along with the AirSelfie.
After rising very early and too heavy cases (..it is a 40-day trip in all possible climates to consider, to justify the two large cases!) we meet at Linate to leave for the first step of the #AirSelfieTeamTour: London! Arrived at Gatwick, we take the train that will carry us right into the center of the city.
First of all we get rid of the cases! We arrive at the Generator Hostel, our accommodation for our four days in London and in my opinion, one of the coolest hostels ever conceived.
After a quick lunch at The Hoxton and a little show of the AirSelfie with a demo-flight in 77Agency’s London headquarters which left everyone speechless, we threw ourselves into the exploration of the city and to have fun with our AirSelfie.
And here they are Covent Garden and King’s Cross Station, the spectacular Central St. Martins’ fountains and a ping pong found purely by chance… and the challenge beginnings!
Dinner time. We decide to return to the Generator and have fun taking some nice videos with the AirSelfie!
LONDON DAY 2
Thursday, March the 2nd = press day for the #AirSelfieTeamTour!
After a hearty breakfast at Caravan in Kings Cross we headed to Hope & Glory, the beautiful agency where we were to hold the press conference.
We were greeted with cups of hot coffee, biscuits, cakes and all kinds of goodies along with the inventor of the project, Edward Stroppiana, all the journalists who arrived had plenty of time to admire for the first time live, the AirSelfie in action.
Press day went very well, all the journalists were impressed by AirSelfie! What better way to celebrate than with a magnificent dinner in the characteristic district of Camden Town? Then, we take a cab and head in the direction of Bintang, an original Asian cuisine restaurant!
How then to renounce our tour of Camden by night with our AirSelfie always ready to take great pictures?!
LONDON DAY 3
After a good sleep and a hearty breakfast from Half Cup we headed to the Tate Gallery where AirSelfie allowed us to take some of the most epic photos of all time!
Second stop of the day: Borough Market! It is one of the most popular food markets in London and when you get there you’ll understand why! So while the boys were mesmerized by stands of goodies, Gaia and I took the opportunity to shot a selfie from a little different perspective 😉
Lunch: “Look mum, no hands!” a quaint restaurant themed bikes… could not miss the selfie taken with AirSelfie’s “no hands” function!
Then we ran back some of the other wonderful sights of London: Carnaby Street and Oxford Circus etc with selfies with intrigued crowds and interested tourists!
LONDON DAY 4
It is Saturday, March 4, last day in London. We begin our tour among the lions in Trafalgar Square, the National Gallery and free-gender traffic lights!
Coffee stop and then we leave for the two most historical sights of London: Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Among tourists amazed by our AirSelfie, the green and flowering meadows of St James Park, violent Canadian geese, we captured unique shots with our AirSelfie.
We also couldn’t miss out on the most flamboyant of London streets: Portobello Road!
We run to the hotel, there is the Vlog to write and the bags to pack! Tomorrow we leave for Berlin !!!
